About Suz

Aloha! My name is Suzette Medeiros-Kane but please call me Suz. I am a Real Estate Agent/Broker at NextHome Realty Connection. I grew up on the island of Kauai “The Garden Island” in Hawaii. A place where island living means everyone is Ohana (family), celebrating and supporting each other always is our way of life. My soul mate and best friend of 30+ years, Bill Kane, and I recently relocated to Oregon to be closer to our children and grandchildren. I have a fondness for this area and the warm people who have already made us feel at home.

I began my real estate career with Alexander & Baldwin, one of Hawaii’s top five large landowners. I spent 28 years as an Executive Assistant to the Vice President and also as a Realtor Associate handling real estate sales and leases, working closely with the former sugar plantation tenants living in the “plantation camp setting” and working together with the community on access to the shoreline through privately owned property. Throughout my career with the company, I gained an appreciation for all things real estate and realized that I wanted to help others accomplish their real estate dreams.

I want to use my knowledge and excitement for real estate and translate that into a happy home buying or selling experience for my clients. I provide quality service and professionalism to my clients whether a first-time home buyer or people who have been through several transactions. I want to help make the real estate transaction a memorable and pleasurable event with nothing but smiles on everyone’s faces at the conclusion!

Passionate about the community I serve with the Lions Club and for Make A Wish Foundation where I earned a “Wishing Star Award” for outstanding service as a volunteer. I am currently a volunteer food drive coordinator for The Oregon Food Bank. In my spare time I love spending time with family enjoying fishing, crabbing, clamming, sporting events, as well as enjoying a great Country music concert.
